Single father?

Hi,
so by the way.. I'm 22, single, and not even close to having a daughter.
But last night I dreamt I had one. I was sitting like in a living room.. and she was drawing on the coffee table in front of me. We were watching tv. She was wearing a blue dress, and had dark hair... but, I had a feeling like.. she didn't have a mother. As if i were a widower or the mother left me. Anyhow, she was dead to me.
I woke up feeling quite good actually.. I felt like.. having a daughter, taking care of her.. would be nice, even if the mother was not around.

Awesome! I am 23 single and nowhere near having a child either, but I had a similar dream a few months back. I dreamed I was picking my daughter up from my mother's house (she was apparently watching her for a bit). She was around 4 years old in the dream. It was really crazy because in the dream I could feel that love that a parent has for their child. In my dream, I also was not with the mother, but I think she was still around. I walked in the house, got down on my knees and she came running into my arms and hugged me saying, "Daddy! Daddy!" I woke up feeling really good that morning. This is all pretty odd, because I have never really wanted kids.

I totally get what you say... I could feel the love too, and same as you, I never thought about having kids. It's something I would love, but I just didn't see myself into it. Until that dream. It's so weird. But it felt amazing.
