I've never actually met this guy, but I started having some pretty heavy lucid dreams about him at age 14. Now, let me clarify and admit right here and now, I wasn't aware that all of these dreams were lucid, but I can only assume, since we were always in the exact same place each time. It was a very small wooded clearing with a waterfall spilling into a small pond, and we always sat together on a large rock by the water. He would appear to me in my regular dream, and escort me out of the regular dream to this place, and we would just talk. I had passive control in these dreams. I couldn't leave the place until allowed me unless I woke up, but I had complete control over the conversation. I never asked who he was or where I could find him, because in the dreams, I knew him.
Only once did I dream of him in a different setting. It was the only time in my life that I ever dreamed in black and white, but it was more sepia. I was way out in the middle of the ocean, drifting completely naked in the water. An Anubis and a Spinx made of Styrofoam floated out to me. They sank underwater and two dogs came up and paddled around me, leading toward land. They dogs went under, them the guy and some other woman came up. They were both fully nude too, and they both pulled me ashore. He told me the girl was his DG, and that she had brought him to me. He and I made love, then she told him he was out of time and had to leave.
These dreams were just way too real. I had an intimate bond with him. Even though I had never met him, I knew him. He was so familiar. From the very first time I dreamed of him, I felt like I was home. I stopped dreaming about him at age 25, but the very real sense that this guy was, and still is searching for me has never faded.
Sometimes he had green eyes and called himself "Alex"; other times he had blue eyes and was called "Xander"; both versions had long black hair. After I got married last summer, I started seeing a new figure lurking on the edges of my dreams. This one calls himself "Kaz", but I know it's the same guy, only with brown hair and blue-green eyes. My husband is never present in my dreams if Kaz is around, and Kaz isn't around if my husband is. The dreams aren't the same either. This version of him seems distant and disconnected, more focused on my safety than my happiness. He's all business, but no less compassionate. I know he doesn't like my husband, but I'm certain it's just jealousy. He no longer comes to me in private dreams, he only shows up in my normal dreams now around lots of other people.
I know how absurd something like is for a grown woman to believe in. But the sad truth is, I fell hopelessly in love with this ghost. He just appeared in my dreams one night as if he'd had always been there, belonged there, and knew me in real life. I took this as a sign that he was supposed to be in my life.
I KNOW his isn't my male side (whatever they call it the anima thingy) or a DG, because I've met other people who were able to share stories and information about him that only I could have known, which proved to me that he was real, and had talked with them. They knew someone who fit his description; but it was always "years ago" or they had completely lost all forms of contact. It was always a very promising dead end. Also, no matter my health or mental state, his overall appearance have never changed, other than the hair and eyes after I was married.
Through my interest in Astrology, I discovered that he must be a Pisces. The personality traits fit, and almost every Pisces guy I have ever met has reminded me of him. He also once told me he was a "leap year baby", which means he was born on a February 29, which IS in Pisces, but I didn't know that until after the dreams stopped. The people who claimed to know him also stated he was a leap year baby without any prompting from me.
When I was 24, I had a very scary encounter with a combination LD sleep paralysis and OBE. I knew I was dreaming, and I couldn't move my body. I was forcibly pulled from my body by a shamanistic looking man. He was demanding to know where the dream guy was hiding. I didn't know, so I couldn't say, but the Shaman didn't believe me. He held me out over the great black abyss and started to strangle me. I could see my body below me and I could sense that there was green and gold above, that the only way I can explain it. I started to choke, which is what woke me up.
This dream guy has been around for exactly half of my life now, and while I feel completely safe around him, he does more harm then good with all the pain his presence causes me. I just wish someone could give me some logical theories on who or what he is, why he's haunting me, and why he feels so real and familiar.
