DC telling me how to lucid? lol

Had a dream last night that I was in a video game playing with my friend. Toward the end of the dream, he told me that I shouldn't look for dreamsigns (in my case people from school) and instead i should be more aware of what's happening around me and my surroundings. Ironic isnt it? lol because I didn't become lucid after this. Well I woke up... but i don't think that meant I went lucid.

Am I somewhat a step closer? haha

      Definitely several steps closer

What an interesting dream. I think you should follow the advice. Let us know what happens.

Before I read that sentence, I was about to say that is once step closer haha. Some people get lucky and pop right into lucids, others need to take it one step at a time.

Your DC was half right. You should try to be more aware of your surrounding, but you should also try to stay aware of dream signs!

at SkylightMT: def will if something happens tonight lol
at Michael: yeah i thought that was kind of strange how he told me that. but what was also strange is that i don't remember any people from school in my dreams that night either.
at Ndm: Haha i know! when I woke up I was like "did i really just miss that?"

By the way, I was wondering how vivid your dreams are when your lucid? Or just in general, because I find that my dreams aren't very vivid/colorful. I find it hard to remember the vividness of my dreams, but usually I know when a dream was REALLY vivid because I tend to remember every detail.
