I have the same problem, tried WBTB, did NOT work, for me, but im a beginner but WILD is pretty hard, alot, so i say just start out with the basics. |

I laid there waiting to fall asleep, with the intention of a lucid dream, chanting in my head "I well preform a reality check." 40 minutes later I give up on falling asleep and get up. Why can I easily sleep at night, but I can never nap during morning? |

The best time for me is in the morning right after you naturally wake up. Just try not to move much and if you WILD right you should get in a dream pretty fast. I got into one within a few seconds. Naps are hard for me as well, so this could be a better option for both of you. As a beginner myself, I know how you feel XD |

I think a lot of people have this issue. I know for me its gotten worse as I get older. When I was in my 20s it was no problem to fall back asleep and sleep til late morning. Now if I wake later than 6am I can't fall back asleep. |

How long do you usually sleep? Say you sleep on average 6 hours. If you have the time you might try sleeping 4 hours, wake up for 2 and then go back to sleep. Just an idea! |

Just like u can induce lucid dreaming u can induce sleep 2 naturally of course. Study the wild technique but just use it for meditation purposes. This will help u focus on your breathing and relax u down for a bit before u drift off the sleep. worked for me maybe it will for u. Namaste. |

I find that my ability to nap is directly linked to how long I sleep. I naturally sleep for about 8.5 hours, sometimes 9. If I sleep for only 8 hours, I find that I'm able to nap for about 30 minutes to an hour either in the morning or later on in the day. If I sleep only 7, then I can nap for an hour and a half to two hours, etc. (A while ago, I had found a webpage that had a bunch of circle graphs on polyphasic sleep patterns, which had typical patterns: 1 chunk of ~8 hours, 1 chunk of ~7.5 hours+1 30 minute nap, 1 chunk of ~6 hours+2 30 minute naps, etc., but I am unable to locate it now. Sorry |

I CANNOT nap at all or even sleep when I'm not supposed to even if I would be tired. Quite frustrating as I really would like to achieve WILD and eventually astral projection / OBE. |

I can nap for hours if I've only had like 6 hours of sleep that day. But, I don't seem to recall getting any dreams from it. |
