My lucid dreams are always from an FA...

Anyone else have this problem? I only seem to become lucid whenever I have an FA, because when I look at my clock I realize it's either the wrong time or there's no time at all.

It's frusturating me because I can't seem to change the dreamscape Unless I fly out my window... but I'm kinda still in the same "area".

That is not such a bad thing. If you are having success, go with it. You can always come up with new ways to change the landscape. Think of a cool landscape you would like to explore, then open doors until you find it. Or, turn on the television and step through. Or ask a nearby character to drive you somewhere.

Opposite problem - my lucid dreams ALWAYS end in an FA, where I marvel at the lucid dream and how wonderful and detailed it was. I then get up, go do a load of stuff. Then I wake up for real, and the LD is but a distant memory

Lately all of my lucids have started as a FA, I never really remember what sparked it (usually I realize im dreaming in a normal dream then wake in a FA). But like Robot said, you could do what I do and start walking (or flying!) around your house. Also open a door and expect it to be a portal to a crystal clear stream in a field of grass or whatever you can imagine!

Hehe alright, I'll try the open door thing lol. I would go downstairs... but it seems kinda creepy. Especially since the light switch doesnt work for my stairs

It's good that you can become lucid from FAs! Many times, I forget to do a reality check when I "wake up" and thus lose my lucidity. As for leaving your common surroundings, there are a lot of different ways to do it, like spinning. If you find that, even after you try to leave your familiar surroundings, you can't seem to get away from them, don't sweat it. Just go with the flow, and you'll be surprised where your dream can take you when you are focused on something else.

Haha well I'm glad myself that I can get lucid from an FA as well.. i'm guessing its because everytime I wake up I always do a reality check first. But I would like to have realized I am dreaming when I'm in the middle of a dream plot already Sometimes when I look back at my dream journals... I wonder why I never questioned my reality lol
