Will this make my dreams more vivid? (Please answer quickly as I've only got half an hour here)

I just tried to fall asleep about 8:30. I slept until 9:05, but then woke up, unable to fall back to sleep. It's 9:30 right now. If I go back to sleep some time within the next half hour, will my dreams be more vivid than they would've been if I'd never woken up in the first place?

At the beginning of the night you don't spend very much time in REM sleep. Seeming that you only were asleep for 30 minutes I am guessing that you haven't even been through a REM stage yet. Ultimately this is a very early WBTB and while it may have some effect on dream vividness, I find it unlikely that it would be similar to the kind of results you can get from awakening after 3-6 hours of sleep. 30 minutes just isn't that long.

Of course all of this is just my educated guess. Take it however you want.

I've ended up in a very similar situation again. I desperately need an answer to the question I posed in my OP. Somebody please help me.

Maybe he meant 8:30 PM to 9:05 AM?
"I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia, food of the gods." - Claudius Ptolemy
