      Coliseum tournament

Hey everyone! I've decided to bring a dream game which I play myself to the community. Basically what this game entails is that once a month, (for people who average only a few lucids a month) or twice a month (for more advanced dreamers) I will post the details for a battle within a coliseum. I will post how the coliseum is decorated for the particular duel, the scenario which the battle is depicting and the descriptions for the enemies. How you defeat your enemies is up to you, however, I will post the battle challenge for each duel which will outline how you must defeat your enemies. (this will prevent you from just striking them all down with a lightning storm)
Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in these bi-monthly battles, with no limit upon your lucid dreaming expertise. Of course being familiar with dreaming would be beneficial. I will only post one duel for this month, as we are already at the halfway point. Here is the first battle:

You are taking on the role of the first king of aristar, a strong, well built man. You step out of the housing beneath the coliseum, and feel the tidal wave of summer heat wash over your body. As you confidently walk out to the centre of the arena, damp hair clinging to your face, you hear the arena official speaking at the top of his voice from the commentator's balcony. "welcome the first king of aristar! Today, we will witness this man's awesome attempt to defeat the barbarian tribes of dar fau. He will not survive. Blood shall be shed. The battle of a lifetime will be witnessed."
You catch a flicker of movement from behind you, and see six other men bearing the same crest upon their breastplate as yourself. One of them clutches a standard; red with a white eagle gripping the world in it's claws. You set your gaze ahead of you, and see 14 barbarians, clad in nought but a leather jerkin and loin cloth, each wielding axes and polearms of varying sizes and designs. The barbarian tribe is lead by a man who towers a stride above all the rest, whose bulk is so, to challenge even the trees of the forest. This man - grislar according to the announcer - is holding the largest axe you have ever seen. He looks terrifying, with the sun glinting off the half-moon blade of his weapon. Your men have reached you, and assume a box formation. They have been given well-burnished armour to wear, and a great conical helmet each, yet no shield. Each ally wields a short-sword and a belt knife. If you are to defeat this great force ahea of you, you must use every bit of your knowledge earned as twelve years as a general for the royal army. Apart from the few wagons bearing barbarian forces, the coliseum floor lay bare with white, sun-cracked dirt. There is nowhere to hide. There is nowhere to run. Suddenly, you hear the announcer, "let the show begin!".

COLISEUM CHALLENGE: For the advanced people, you yourself may only wield a short sword, belt knife and a tall-roman shield OR a large, two handed sword and a belt knife. You may use whatever you may find within he arena, but NO summoning and NO magic. As far as armour goes, wear whatever you want. If you make a mistake, it won't do much good against grislar anyways.

Have fun with this guys, and be sure to post your interpretations of the battle! Good luck, and despite what the commentator said you can win. Anything is possible in a dream!

Post feedback as well for next round!
