Question Imagining that you are lucid dreaming...during a dream? :s

Well, this is kinda confusing, but is it possible to think that you're lucid dreaming...when you're not? Like, when I have a Lucid Dream, I do all these things that I don't plan to do, and I don't think I'd do if I was normally using my brain during a lucid dream.
Here's an exmaple of what I'm trying to say:
Today, I had a "Lucid Dream"..and during the dream (i'm so stupid) I took out my phone and searched up "What to do when Lucid Dreaming" :S :$ If I was in my right state of mind, I wouldn't have done that. I would've probably tried to fly :/ haha.
In other words, it just does not feel like a lucid dream, when I remember it :/
So are dreams like this (where you think you're lucid dreaming during a dream, but you're not really Lucid, you just think you're lucid) possible; am I really havng a non-lucid dream where I think I'm lucid, or does everyone just think differently during lucid dreams?
Sorry for the long and confusing question :S

      Yes! I had this once.
Basically, you were either semi-lucid, or you were just having a dream about lucid dreaming.
Either way, you're making excellent progress.
Dreaming about lucid's means your close
For example, I dreamt that I was researching lucid dreaming out front of my neighbours house (weird right)
And then a week or so later, BAM first lucid.
      Good luck!

      Thanks for the answer
      Haha I've wanted to have a lucid-dream for ages -__- :S
Good to know I'm almost there! :O
Thanksss I need it haha! :L
But how does it feel like when you're lucid? Does it feel like you're in the normal, real world? Or does it feel different? :/
And is it easier to remember the details of a lucid dream than a non-lucid dream? :/
      Thanks again

      No problem
      It feels amazing
When you have the sudden rush of realisation you're dreaming, it's incredible.
The first few times didn't go to well, but I'm getting better. Everything is incredibly realistic, your senses are just like real life.
I would say it's a lot easier to recall lucid because YOU DID WHAT HAPPEND, instead of just some random dream.
I guess the key is dedacation, just keep at it, and there's no way you won't have a lucid dream
Keep up your dj, and I reccomend trying out dild and mild until your first, and then switch and experiment.
Let me know about your first lucid when it happens, and I'm just a beginner, but if you have some questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them
