The Quality of My Lucid Dreams is...well absolutely awful.

So lately I have become pretty lazy about lucid dreaming and it has hurt the amount of LD's I have which sucks but that's not what is really bothering me. The quality of my LD's is what is upsetting me. Since I only have about one a week now I really want them to be very vivid. I'm not having any problems with dream length, although, they are a little short at 15 minutes. But every thing is extremely dull! I used to have very vivid LD's so I know what it's like. But now it's like playing a xbox game, I see, hear, and control every thing but with little sense of feeling and have little control. I even wake up trying to deciede if what I had was truly a LD because it feels nothing like it should. Please help me! Thanks!

      Hi ebridge15,

Have you been stabilizing your dreams? Stabilizing the dream allows it to last longer, and be more vivid. Some common techniques people use to stabilize a dream include rubbing your hands together and spinning around. The trick to stabilizing a dream is to stimulate your senses. Just stay still and look around for a minute. What does everything look like? Taste like? Smell like? Sound like? Feel like? Imagine everything in great detail.

If you want to read in more detail about stabilizing your dream click here. Another thing that is supposed to help your deam vividness to vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 can be found in bananas, cereal, potatoes, peanut butter, etc.

Hope this helped and good luck!
