Well, a good WILD is unquestionably better than intention. But it might be a good boost for DILD/MILD's. |

Do you think the various methods of inducing LDs matter very much? Or do you think it's just a matter of a strong intention or desire and a natural leaning towards one's dream life? |

Method is the instructions to complete an itention. : ) |

Methods definitely guide your intent. For example, a MILD, to me, is conscious intent following specific guidelines to achieve a result. Without conscious knowledge of a method, you have to completely let go of conscious control, and display your intent towards your mind, which it will then carry through for a LD. However, this is really difficult for most people, because we are taught that passive observation is a bad thing( at least in America), and not really taught how to guide the mind at all. If you intend to not have a lucid dream, and then follow the method, then you wont have one. If you follow a good method, and put a strong intent towards it, it jumps up a notch. The problem I experience is I say "I want a lucid dream", setting my intent, and my mind immediately questions WHY? as intent for me needs to have purpose, reason. If I dont have a good reason or purpose, my mind rejects the intent, or empowers it slightly,no matter the method I use...sadly. Have to reprogram myself on that one lol, but its ages old. I have always done things for a reason, it reinforces my intent, provides a backbone to guide the energy flow. |

All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.
