Clarity and Control in a Dream

So I've had my first two LD's but when i was in control and realised i was dreaming. I looked around but things still seemed blurry to me. Im not sure if that was because i didn't wake up right after the dream or not because I didn't. I had many more dreams after these Lucid Dreams. I just want to know some ways I can increase control and clarity in a Dream. Also i wasn't sure if i rushed the Lucid Dream, because after gaining lucidity i simply was like " TIME TO FLY !!!! " lol So at the moment i was at a mansion so i simply jumped off the porch and flew through the air. It was incredibly exhilarating. But i don't really remeber the actual flying sadly It felt short .

First of all, congratulations on your LD's The more of them you have the easier it will be to prolong and control them.

A tip in order to increase the clarity is simply giving the command "Increase clarity!" out loud. In dreams, your fantasy is your only limit, so if you're creative there are other methods to use as well. For instance, when you believe/know you have something in your pocket (sounds tricky, but as long as you think it's there, it often will be), you can use that in order to execute your commands. For instance, you could try creating a lucidity device, in order to control the lucidness/clarity of your dream world. Or you could "find" a lever or a button perhaps that does the same thing.

Good job on flying so quickly by the way took me more than one try to manage that, hehe.

If you would like to prolong your LD's, the best thing may be practice, it can also help if you manage to stay as calm as you can. If you feel your dream slipping away, try spinning around to keep control of it.

If you are looking to control your dreams more effectively, I advise looking at the Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
I also had a strange unstable dream the other day, where my vision kept fading every so often, was fun!

Before you want to muck around with dream control, you might want to stabalise your dream first so you don't wake up prematurely. Dream stabilisation is best by anchoring your 5 senses of your dream body. Eg; rub your hands while looking at them (2 senses already, touch and sight)
