To Use It Or Abuse It.

What is the Best Philosophy regarding Lucid Dreaming. Like anything else, Surely it can be Mis-Used. I would hate to think, after say a few years Lucid Dreaming, I looked back and said it was mere entertainment for the life challenged amongst us.

If you follow that philosophy you'll end up sleeping your life away. We need to remember that dreams are only dreams. Whether or not you use them to explore your subconsience (or the girls locker room) you will inevitably wake up.

I don't believe there is any "misuse" so to speak for dreams. They are dreams and are completely natural. What you do in your dreams is your choice if you become lucid. there are no concequences in dreams.

Dreams are the ultimate illusion of control. When you dream, you're with your idealialized version fo whatever your dreaming about.

For example, in the story I write, there is a girl, and she is my vision of my perfect girlfriend I would fall in love with. As a result, draming about her is easy, but I will never meat a girl like her, so she is ultimately a bad influance on me.

What I have learned from this, is that dreaming teaches us that you can learn about yourself or have some fun, but the real world is where you are not the only entity with control. Other people control how they want to be, so you must learn to share the control and combine it with others to live how you want to, in a compromise that brings life to everyone.

You can't live perfectly on your own, as a dream will try and teach you.

Dreams are a freedom used to show yourself whatever you desire to see.

It's yours to abuse it or not. Go with what you believe with morals and what not

If you dont care, then do whatever. If you do, then place limits. its your dream. you're not going to get fined for dreaming blowing up the moon or something.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
