I agree but I dont know if they would really bother with Lucid Draeming. It doesn't really affect reality which is what they are concerned about.

I think the only interest the U.S. government might have in our ability to lucid dream would be if one of us finally discovered and posted the infamous "holy grail" technique we're all looking for that alllows us to have LD's at will.

If that happened, we might stop buying the latest clothes, cars, and computers every 6 months and actually learn to enjoy ourselves without material items.

Our entire economy could collapse under the strain.

Smacks of Big Brother...the Higher beings could use our knowledge of lucidity to control us...

The ability to LD is useless to governments. I'm laughing at the mere thought of a government agency trying to shut someone up by force because they are lucid dreaming

the government has probanly already looked into this, I can think of a few good reasons for them doing so (ie. training soldiers even while they sleep, giving soldiers time to relax even in a war), yeah you get the idea right? the problem is, that if they are going to try and use it for anything else (like training) then they would have to learn how to put thoughts into the brain, which as far as we know is impossible. I wouldnt doubt that they have looked into this considering the possibilities of giving a soldier time to have fun even in the middle of a warzone.

but no, why would the government go after millions of people just because they can lucid dream? I could see them hunting us down if it was an occult or we were able to effect reality, but so far theres no evidence of that.

We have discussed this in lenght about the government project named remote viewing. Some believe it to be true, others don't.
