I am having trouble falling asleep during a nap.

I want to try napping to lucid dream during the day, but I am unable to fall asleep. I am trying in the mornings. How do I do it?

If it were me, I would try to find out what is keeping me awake, is it noise? light? Finding out can help, If not i suggest that you stay up and then take a nap, which is the only way I personally have hit sleep paralysis.

Maybe you're not tired. Or don't need sleep. If you want to take a nap to lucid dream, you have to fall into REM sleep, why don't you try cutting 1 hour out of your normal sleep time and replace it in the day? It might suck at first but your body will get used to it.

Oh, I know how it is. I can never fall asleep in day, and it's because of the sounds. I'm extremly sensitive, it's something I'm born with.

I have a hard time sleeping during the day too. Try napping within a few hours after waking, any longer and you'll be too awake. It might also help if you try to sleep somewhere dark, I know I have a hard time otherwise unless I'm extremely tired.
