      No Eureka moment...

I had a dream this morning and... I think I know the answer to this, but I need to clarify for my sake. I was doing things like stablizing by rubbing my hands several times throughout the dream, commanding lights to turn on, pushing my hands through walls, and just kinda bopping around doing random stuff, but there was no eureka moment where I said "I'm dreaming!". I saw a few digital clocks too in the dream and they were all mucked up like missing their minutes and stuff. And I recall thinking briefly "Yep, this is a dream"

But, without that Eureka moment, can I call this lucid? It seems passive.

I know, you're probably sick of this question, but I don't wanna call something lucid that wasn't.

Sounds like you had a non-lucid dream about being lucid. That's pretty common just before people actually start having lucid dreams. I did it a few times. So you're getting close! Expect it to happen soon - maybe tonight.

This can get confusing So I had a dream about lucid dreaming... the stablizing did work... Maybe lucid with medium control and average vivdness?

Doesn't really matter what you do in a dream, it's about what you know. If you suddenly thought of doing those r.c.s and just went "hm, guess I'm dreaming" then that is as lucid as "oh wait, hold on that failed, ZOMG IM DREAMING".

If you didn't know you were doing reality checks (or you never thought about them, as is the case with all dreams), then it wasn't lucid. Lucid by definition is when you know you are dreaming, having control or not.

Haha, your doing great, the less excited you are about realising it's a dream the more stable the dream will stay, so in a sense - well done!
I would definitely call it a lucid and anything more than that to add is to do with dream control. I think the level of conciousness affects how excited we get when we are dreaming.

I had another lucid dream today I became lucid in the end of the dream so it didn't last much more than 30 seconds, my shortest one ever Usualy it's like 10 minutes or at least feels that way. I was stablizing with hand rubbing and the dream was still collapsing so I decided to try the spinning, but it didn't work. I was like spinning on my side Well, this is really coming along well. Me like.

I should add it happened when I went back to bed. I had my clock set for 7am and decided to pass back out till whenever and 90 minutes later I woke up from the lucid. Was this like a WBTB, unintended?

Congrats Even though that one was short at least it was definitely an LD. It seems to me if you aren't sure whether or not you are ever lucid, you're not. It's true that in some lucids you're foggy brained and don't think completely rationally and so then it could be a bit confusing but still, you'd know, like you did for your latest one.
      And yeah, that was WBTB.
