I've succeeded in WILD only few times. When I did manage to start the dream, the transition phase was always quite short, only few minutes. Once I happened to get WILD spontaneously and the transition was really quick, maybe some seconds. Usually though, when I'm trying WILD, the relaxing phase takes so much time that I give up and fall asleep normally, so I don't have so many experiences about it. |

How long do wilds take you?
How long does it take you people to have a WILD? I have recently had several WILDS in which I seemed to go straigh from SP into the actually dream. In one case I woke up (wasnt a FA) and was able to have a WILD almost instantly aftewards, which flowed on from the previous LD.
This is unusual as normally any WILDS I have seem to take quite a will to transition from SP into the actual dream.

My wilds last anywhere from 5-40 seconds. Usually I wait about 40 seconds or so before I start doing anything... Acting too soon ruined a fair bit of my WILDs
If you strengthen your intent to enter another dream after waking up from any dream, you greatly increase your chances of lucidity.
