so recently i have been attempting WILD but i guess i am not ready yet. but i can get LD with other techniques involing RC therefore if i were to go into a LD with RC , is it possible to ask my Dream Guide why i cant do WILD or other questions like when will i lucid dream again? Also i first LD at july then i stopped LD at august and all of my LD were by RC... now i am going to continue RC after 2 months will i still be LD at the same rate because previously i lucid dreamt about 3 per month will i be able to achieve at the same rate in another words will i have my ''old skill'' back?

It took me some months before I was able to pull off a WILD. Some find it easy, some don't. As I stated before, all there is to it is being aware of what's going on while letting yourself fall asleep - not trying to dream while awake. That's something it took me a while to learn as most people tell you to ''stay conscious'' and this is very misleading. There is a distinct difference between being aware and being conscious; something you learn with experience.

In terms of your main induction technique, I'd like to point out that it's not the reality checks themselves that are getting you lucid; it's the awareness behind it which gets you lucid. Awareness is the most important thing you can master when it comes to lucid dreaming. When one learns to become aware in both waking and dreaming reality, their chances of achieving lucidity are substantially increased.

I would recommend these sources for increasing awareness, and focus more on this than you do with reality checks. Only check when you're really unsure whether you're dreaming or not, or right after you get lucid (to increase awareness even more).

Pay attention every time you become lucid. Pay attention to how it feels, how you got there, and how you wake from it. It seems like there is always some weirdness upon waking from a lucid dream. False awakenings, sleep paralysis, DEILD. As you become more familiar with how it all works for you, personally, WILD should become easier.
