Remembering things from your childhood in dreams?

I just thought of something.
Can we use our lucid dreams to remember things from our childhood?
I remember very little from my childhood and I would love to dig into my memory and find experiences from when I was little.

Random memory fragments have influence in your dreams, the probablility of a memory that comes up decreases with age (I think) but it definitely can happen.
Remembering is a different matter, if you already know about that part in your child hood then that memory is newer than when it happened (if that makes sense), infrequent, hasn't happened to me really.
I have had a few de ja vu dreams though, weird!

I don't know. It could be potentially risky if false memories start popping up which is actually quite likely. As long as you have some corroborative evidence, I guess no harm done, but then what is the point of the dream memory?
