Thread: End of an LD at the end of REM

Hello.

I have read many times, that people can recognize when their LD ends before waking up. However can you recognize that your LD is going to end, because you are falling into NREM sleep? I think it is better to wake up before NREM not to forget the LD.

I know my LD is ending when crazy stuff happens and I lose control over the situation.

..but that's ONE experience, and I'm not a pro, so.. ..just my two-cents' worth.

In the typical sleep cycle, people wake briefly after REM sleep, or at least come very close to waking.
