Anyway in an attempt to try and save the thread here and get more to the topic.....

It's all in what you are thinking. If you control your thoughts enough you can fly. Or do anything. If you think you will fall. Even if not consiously aware you are thinking that, you will fall. It's just a matter of belief and imagination.The limit is your imagination and your faith.
If you remember that laws of physics and nature do not apply in dreams so you can do anything. Our mind has a difficult time accepting this even though we may think we know. Since most things carry on from our life into our dream world. The beliefs in the laws are strong enough to limit us in the dream world even though consiously we know they do not apply. Working on the understanding you can do anything, you can built this belief and make it your foundation. This will help you have faith to do these things. Dream control is down hill from there.

And for time difference. If it is 10 minutes in a dream and that's what you experience. It is 10 minutes. However If you wake up and it has been 1 minute. Great.....well done.

I do not know about distortion of time, when I get more experienced I will see if I can find something out about this. For now I am assuming 1 minute dream time = 1 minute.

This is just insanely childish. Leo, I really expected better of you (well, not just you). I have half a mind to lock this topic, being as all that's happening here is one big argument, getting everybodies tempers high. This was a perfectly good topic. Seriously, what's got into you?

So I think the whole time experiment that laberge did is bunk.
I seem to have pretty good timing at times, I manage to time things unconsiously if I know when I need to be someplace I can just kind of go about my tasks and if I dont worry about it and dont try to rush or anything I seem to be right on time or knowing what time it is and stuff. Alot of other people do this too. We have clocks built into our minds as well as our bodies.

So, during your dream and you are TRYING to keep physical worl time, wouldent you do just that?

What if you werent trying? and say just happened to experience quite a bit of time in the dream world.

This topic came up a while back and it was said that the mind can give the impression that time had past by creating memories and such, to this I say. Well thats not too much different from the past here is it not?

Can you fill in hour by hour minute by minute your past? Say the past 3 years or a span of months that occured 2 years ago? Probably not. If so, you have skillz.

I wont get into it but my theories are that the spirit interacts with the physical brain at the Plank interval of time... its little.. and much like material laws at the quantum level, time itself starts to act funny.

Due to the limitations of this physical world our consiousnesses are constrained to this thing we call time though, while dreaming we are not constrained to these physical limitations.

Alot of people beleive time to be an illusion and that time is not actually linear, its just how we perceive it.

There was a book I read (think it was manifold space or manifold time author stephen Baxter) that I found an interesting idea in, a living being, that existed in the physical world, it was like a mineral type plant. The time scale it lived on was universal, meaning billions of years, the interesting thing was that its life cycle and perception of time was reverse that of ours, it was experienceing time backwards.



As to going to the moon, give this a shot.

Yeah I was thinking about that Lebarge time statement also. How could anyone possibly know that the time infractures are exactly the same. What if the mindset preprogrammed the seconds to be just. No one can possibly know if it truely was counted within the same seconds unless that person was in the same dream and had focuse on the waking world all at the same time. So that experiment doesn't do it for me. I mean think of it . You can be in a dream for days at a time and experience only a mere passing of about an hour or 2 in the waking world.

Now creation within a dream universe has been one of my biggest goals for the year 2005. I've managed to create only ONE Planet. The planet hangs over my dreamworld as if it's a Moon. I have yet been able to create within that planet because I simply cannot get to it once I've created it. I've tried Teleportaion doesn't work. Tried Flying at supersonic speeds and its like when I get to the Atmosphere I get pulled back to my world that I took off from, very wierd indeed because I don't handle restrictions to well since I've never encountered them during High Level lucidity. I can never create more than one planet either unless I blow the first planet up. Which is cool by the way. But Conectration I believe is the main ingrediant. For instance if Im creating a Planet while my dream eyes are closed and Im visualizing this planet size, color, clouds and location and something breaks my concentration then I would have an unfinished product just hanging over head like a half of planet.....

thanks for getting this back on topic guys! that was annoying i must say. looking to share experience and gethelp. but two people keep on fighting. im glad it wasnt locked though.. cuz it ended up having good posts. the weird thing was. the last lucid dream i had. i was walking down the street at night like i do sometimes and all of a sudden i got anotion in my head to fly when i saw the moon. and im like im sick of not flying im gonna do it. so i jumped and started to. then i knew i was dreaming. when i realized it i was like hell yea!!! but can anyone help me with my hand dissapearing wheni focus on it. everytyhing around becomes so vivid but my hand disapears. and after my hand dissapears i lose the dream. help me with that!
