I sometimes fall asleep too quickly during WBTB.

This does happen to other people as well? Waking up for WBTB, just to shut off the alarm or whatever device you use to awaken yourself. Or sometimes I wake up and forget about my WBTB, meaning I am not mentally awake during that moment. My friend found an App (I do not know what it is called), which is an alarm which will not shut off unless the person solves a mathematical puzzle on the screen (which is meant to mentally wake you up). The app itself does not matter, but the idea of doing some kind of mental exercise such as a simple math problem may help some stay aware and conscious during WBTB so that they don't fall asleep too quickly. I do not know if it would work, but I would like people to discuss/try this idea.

I used to have that problem every now and again. I easily fixed it by pure willpower. After all, I thought about how I barely didn't get any sleep during training. After that it was a breeze. Basically if I were you I would write down your goal someplace in your DJ the night before. It seems that when people write down their goals they tend to achieve them. Also you could temporally use a mantra that is telling yourself to remember that you want to WBTB. After you have it down you could switch your mantra to something else.

      I hope that this helps.

I recommend getting up and using the restroom, then returning. This way you're still sleepy but you have enough sense to remember your goals.

Your answer is just to make your WBTB time longer, but take care that you don't stay up too long that your mind's too active to go back to sleep.
