      WILD is impossible for me!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I swear it's impossible for me to WILD, so can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I ALWAYS fall asleep! I just lay down, relax my whole body, I don't move, and I like to visualize something to keep my conscious awake, but I always fall asleep! Is there any secret or trick to staying awake?

Yes I have the same problem. The previous week of trying I attemted to do it with a brief awakening but always fell asleep. This week I have been spending about 30mins out of bed but that seems to leave me too alert. Next week I will try DEILD instead, sounds slighty more up my alley. Others will have good advice, but certain techniques just aren't compatible with certain individuals.

"For man, the unexamined life is not worth living." -Socrates

LD count stands at 0, but we all start somewhere.

Firstly, its not impossible. Secondly, you are half way there. You need to fall asleep, remaining aware is the key. Visualizing is fine, though you can easily fall into the dream and not remember what happened. Try passively counting down, watching your breathing, listening to external sounds, or keep reminding yourself you are in a dream, but this has to be passive.
Again, you have to fall asleep, but you have to remain aware by some extent. Practise makes perfect, nothing is impossible.

Try 15 mins? You will probably have better luck with DEILD though.

The problem is in the title. If you think of WILDing as an impossible technique then the chances are that is what you'll be thinking about when your WILDing and you'll never fall asleep. In fact, learning to WILD is not hard at all. The only thing that makes it hard is yourself. In order to calm the mind I would recommend practicing meditation for around 15 minutes a day. Also, when you WBTB meditate and try to clear your mind. Do not think about the WILD attempt. Just lay down and do it. I would recommend reading BillyBob's WILD tutorial. There is alot of good information in there.

      I hope that I helped.
