      WILDs Disrupt Recall

      Hey forum,

Last couple of nights I've been attempting the CAN-WILD method and have noticed that my recall gets COMPLETELY destroyed when I try this. In the morning I can remember very small fragments of my dreams but the entire picture doesn't become clear as it would if I just woke up naturally...

Has anyone else experienced WILDs disrupting recall
      and
Are there ways to avoid the disruption of recall in the attempts of WILDs after 4.5 to 6 hours of previous sleep

      ??

      Let me know,
      ~CK

Im not sure, since i doesnt use WILD myself. But try to work on your recall, its most likely because of you changed sleep cycle. With some work, itll get back to normal

I used to do the CAN-WILD, and yeah it did kind of mess up my recall (but that was the day after my lucid from it, and what I thought was messed up might be too long for most people though since I've been strict on getting better recall).

I think it's better to use WBTB+WILD, because like gab said, you can write down the dreams you had, and then go back to sleep for a WILD and recall that as well.

The CAN-WILD involves waking up to an alarm and keeping your body still to enter the dream state quickly since your eyes aren't open (and if you aren't used to keeping track of an association you can use to remember prior dreams before doing the CAN-WILD, it can be a hassle).

Maybe you can try to remember key events and images that can help you associate larger amounts of data when you go to record your dreams later on.
