I figured it to be a waste of lucid space so to speak. For whatever reason this morning when I was asleep I curious as to what it would be like to fly in a dream. So of course I went ahead and tried it. I must have tried hard too because I shot up into space eventually. It did feel strange breathing up there at least. Sort of like breathing under water. |

I've never had any control in my lucid dreams, and have only had about two in my life, but I think it would be great to fly. You could go wherever you want and see everything from above. |

Oh, flying is the best!!! It's truly euphoric for me, and I feel great for hours after I wake up. It's funny, though, sometimes I fly better than other times. I usually do a little run and jump and I'm off, sort of like swiming up from the bottom of a deep swimming pool, and I get that feeling of lightness in my stomach. Sometimes flying is a little harder, and I feel like I'm running too slowly like trying to run in a pool. Those times, I usually don't get as high as I want to, but I still get lift. The best experiences are when I just fly with ease. I wonder why sometimes it's easier to fly than others. Flying is the thing I look most to in lucid dreams. I'll be in the middle of a dream, realize I'm lucid and just take off no matter what the dream scenario is!! |

perhaps your dream isnt vivid enough? i know when i fly in most of my dreams, its not really special...but thats only when my dreams arent extremely vivid, which they basically never are |
