could you explain more what you mean? do you mean that you are looking to see a symbol in your dream to let you know you are dreaming

or do you mean you have some symbol in the waking life that when you see the symbol it reaffirms that you will dream lucidly

a good symbol or object would be something like the little metal spinning top in inception-have the symbol do something that is impossible in the waking world-like spinning indefinitely=)
