      Missed it by that much...

      Hello all,

Last night I went to bed and thought "Why not lucid dream tonight?" So I tried to.

It was going brilliantly. First I felt my appendages go still and I couldn't move them. At this point I began to get a bit excited. Then I began to build my dream. I was in a spaceship. The next thing I know I hear the television roar from downstairs, completely throwing me off. I was not able to go back into the state I was in.

So, was I close? And also any tips to go back into the "lucid state" I was in (or tips to ignore the tele?)?

      Cheers,
      DreamBounty

P.S. I know this is quite a condensed version of what happened, but if you need further details, just ask.

If you going for a WILD, don't do it as you go to bed. Get at least 4.5 hours of sleep first and then do WBTB. When you can't move, you are in sleep paralysis, which is a stage near dream stage. Just do again what you did last time, wait for the images behind your eyelids and enter the dream. Happy dreams

      Thank you kindly for responding.

The problem with the 4.5 hours of sleep before hand is school. I have to wake up at around six-ish. If I go to bed at 10:30 and get 4.5 hours of sleep I'll end up with only around three hours of lucid dream time.

But I will try and I will report back tomorrow.

      Good night,
