      A new fellow dreamer

      Hey everyone,
I've been reading around on these forums for quite a while but haven't really committed to starting dreaming and lucid dreaming. SO tonight I'm going to start by keeping a dream journal of whatever my dreams are. But besides a dream journal what's a great way to work on better recall like getting it to be more vivid and like real life and eventually become a lucid dreamer?

Good for you! Vividness comes with recall. As your recall improves you'll be able to recall more and more details, the dreams themselves are often in good quality, it's just that when we try to remember it in the morning your memory of them is so bad that you can't really call them detailed. Start with writing the dreams down every single morning and you're on your way! Then check out the various techniques.

Yeah I'll do that, and a year ago I was writing down my dreams and doing good with it and I had a couple lucids but they were either short and vivid or really long and not that vivid. LAst night though I was going wrote down my dreams after I woke and the second I woke up I remember the last like 5 mins of the dream with perfect detail but I laid in my bed debating writing it down and in that minute of debating I had already forgotten a lot of the details. I just need to work on my laziness I guess. But surprisingly i usually have one dream a night give or take, but last night I had 3. So I'm already getting back into the swing of things. I'll deffinitely be asking questions here tho. Also any good books or websites you suggest?
