First lucid in a very long time :)

So, I just woke up from a 2 hour nap. I had a lucid dream which I will describe in a moment. I woke up from it and thought to myself "theres no way I will forget any of that, no need to write it down" then I went back to sleep.

What I do remember is being in my house and doing the finger thru the palm RC, which passed, it wouldn't go through, so I did the nose plug RC which passed as well, I then looked at my hands and my fingers were totally f'ed up. I was like, HELL YES THIS IS AWESOME, IT's BEEN MONTHS SINCE MY LAST ONE. I went outside and started to fly around my neighborhood, and the last bit I remember is saying to myself that its been a really long LD.

Pretty lame first LD in a while but hey I'm happy with it

The strange part is that recently in the past 2-3 weeks I gave up trying again, So I have no clue where this DILD came from.

Congratulations on your lucid, fellow traveler! It's always nice to get some goals achieved, so where to now? Perhaps task of the month?

Honestly I have no idea. I'm currently not doing any techniques because none of them work for me.

Maybe some external aid, gadgets and stuff? I didn't have consistent dream signals so I bought the REM dreamer. It's not prefect, but I get consistent "light flashing related dream signals" every night now.. I got my first short lucid with it, and it had been years since I gotten one before.
