Hi all. I have still yet to have a LD. |

Sounds like you're about to go into sleep paralysis, maybe even on the brink of transitioning into a dream. |

Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

You're right, in order to dream your body is paralysed so you can't act out your dream in real life. Lucid dreamers often enter sleep paralysis shortly before entering a dream when they WILD. |

Thankyou for the reply! then that explains what happened to me in Zante when i was on holiday..! i had this and it felt like a dream and i couldn't move my body. I would love to WILD but i'm scared that i won't be able to wake up and get stuck in a dream if you get what i mean? can this occur |

You can never become trapped in a dream, at least not indefinitely. We've all had dreams that we felt we could never wake from, but there are physical limitations such a REM cycles, you'll always wake up. |

Sounds like the beginning of SP or the hypnagogic state. My only advice is to try not to fear it, and ride the storm until you're dreaming. It gets even more intense (for me at least), so it might take some practice before you get used to it. Expect there to be a time where it feels like you cannot breathe (this is normal)... expect there to be a time where you hear voices, and/or deafening noises... this is also normal. Expect psychedelic colors and images. These are all signs that you are about to enter a dream. |

Spoiler for Lucid Goals:
the only reason im commenting on this cause when I was a very small kid I had what i could only explain as a nightmare. Every time I closed my eyes and tried to go to bed I kept seeing the same image in my head. It wasn't scary or anything but I was little and it annoyed me so I cried. |

Sounds like you are on the path to astral projection! Pursue it! I do this, I've learnt to walk on the astral plane. I'd drop LD and start projecting - it's way better and enlightening. |

Oh god when i was like 6 I had so many scary dreams i still remember to this day, they felt so realistic. If one keeps a positive attitude before reaching a point like this is it possible to get around such SP, cause i know i couldn't breathe, and after having the same dream like 3 times in a row, i purposely didnt breathe only to wake myself up to save me from my mind... Now i want to explore this mystery =/ |
