      First lucid.

For three years I have been trying to lucid dream on and off.
I had my first lucid dream last night, I went to sleep and woke up at 3:00am. I was throwing up (too much drinking) until 6:00am then I finally went to sleep. I thought I woke up again except everything felt wierd and I looked back in my room and saw skeletons dancing on the wall and I did a RC and I was dreaming. I didnt get too excited but decided I wanted to go out of my house (in my dream). Then I woke up because my sister blasted music at 7:00am which pissed me off. I think I could of actually had a lucid dream if my sister didnt play music so loud when I was sleeping (she has a great sound system and we have thin walls).

I did wake up in sleep paralysis though. I fell back asleep from SP and in my next dream I was in my room again strangely. I suspected I was dreaming instatly and I plugged my nose and was able to breathe but for some reason I kept on doing it (with sucess) but then my nose start to be like jello and squish around and then for some reason I couldent breathe through my nose. Then I woke up.

In conclusion, I think I could of has a sucessful lucid dream if I woke up and in the second dream for some reason I didnt want to believe it and kept trying until it stopped working.

This is my first LD in 3 years. I have a good recall though.
For other LDers on this site, when you had your first LD did it take you a long time to have another one or could it possibley come easier to me again because I really want to have a full LD.

Congrats! And really wanting to have one absolutelly helps. The frequency is different for everybody, I had my second 5 days after first one. Keep your excitement up and remember it every time you think of your next LD. And writing in yournal helps, even if you have good recall. Happy dreams
