A few times now, I've had dreams in which I know I'm dreaming, but I know it an "of course I'm dreaming" way. I haven't had that "Oh, WOW, I'm dreaming!" moment.

A dream from a couple of days ago might be instructive. For as much of the dream as I can remember, I knew I was dreaming. It wasn't anything special - if a DC had come up to me to say "Hey, you're dreaming!!!" I would have had the same reaction as if someone came up to me and said "Hey, the sky is blue!!!"

When I saw a mirror, I looked at it carefully because I remembered that mirrors sometimes work oddly in dreams and I wanted to see what would happen (as it happened, the mirror worked fine). Later on, when the mirror disappeared, I decided I wanted it back, so I turned away, believed that the mirror would be there when I turned around again, and turned around. Unfortunately, the mirror still wasn't there

Am I having lucid dreams with very poor awareness / control? Or are these non-lucid dreams that happen to be about lucid dreaming? Is there anything I should be focusing on, or do I just keep working on my dream journaling and hoping that better lucidity comes soon?
