im new here, full of questions , help pls

      good evening ladies n gentlemen.
thank u so much for the concern n for the assist
im new to lucid dream n im so eager to access it.

ive been practising it for 4days..
right now, im in d middle of the 1st step - try to recall my dream (pretty hard cuz im all dead when im sleeping, not conscious at all)
      but i made a progress( i do wrote something on my sleep journal, which will b d question), but somehow im confused. here my questions ;

      1. my situation is, when i begin to sleep, with full enthusiasm to get lucid , *high awareness state* ,
few mins later, subconsciously ill drift off into a story/plot which has nothing to do with me. then i will be like "Oh ! dis is a dream !" ill wake up suddenly, and write it on my dream journal. d question is, is this the dream ? am i in REM ? am i dreaming ? i dont think its a dream because REM shud be 90mins after me sleep ryt ? is this d thing which im supposed to write down ? i cant really differentiate between 'drifting off' and 'REM dreaming'. does drifting off is considered as dream ?

      2. since i prepared myself to get lucid , (sleeping with high conscious ) does it make me tired on the next day ?

      3. its supposed that in dream/drift off, it feels like reality ryt ? but somehow wat i experience is its something juz in my mind , im not really there. its like im watching a movie. its all in my mind n im very well aware of it. when i notice that 'im watching a movie' ill suddenly wakeup n write my journal. why cant i control it ? btw i dont even have time to control it cuz i rushed to my journal writing lol

please help ! thank you so much

That means you haven’t had any lucid dream yet.

Sounds like you might be confusing daydreaming with dreamng.

Don't get worried if it's been 4 days, took me more than 2 weeks to get mine I think, but after you get your first one the rest will come more fluently, try practicing by going all day aware of EVERYTHING, your breath, footsteps, clothes, what you hear, etc.

I haven't acheived lucidity yet either, i haven't been rather adamant about the whole thing this past week and a bit so i may have lost some progress.

Though, what i have found to work to remember my dreams when i plan to, is to just sleep as i usually would. Though keeping the idea of remembering your dreams in the back of your head helps.

Cuz i the time i sleep feels like a single second before i wake up, so when i do wake up that thought just happens to be in my mind still and i remember a lot more.

When Pikachu is in doubt he does a reality check.

      Your resistance to something,
Is the only power it has over you.
      This too, will pass.
