Finally managed to achieve sleep paralysis.

I have been trying for ages to achieve sleep paralysis, but to no avail. Last night I was somewhat drunk, and tried it but just ended up falling asleep. When I woke up in the morning from quite a vivid dream, I fell back asleep again. When I "woke up", I noticed that the objects on my desk across the room were shaking and moving around, with a few of them randomly flying off the desk.

I suddenly realised I had finally reached SP and got quite excited and anxious. My vision wasn't entirely vivid; it felt as though my vision was kind of shaky and off-colour. Then I saw a flood of spiders crawl down from my desk and then one almighty mother*cker of a spider crawled down after them which is when I got quite worried... and I'm not even scared of spiders.

All the while I was trying desperately to move my arms but nothing was happening, until I finally managed to lean up, the hallucinations had vanished and I was back to normal.

It was an very surreal, short but incredible experience and I really want it to happen again. It's somewhat frustrating that it happened during the morning when I wasn't even trying, it makes me feel as though my efforts before I go to sleep at night are kind of useless.

Does anyone have any tips for repeating this success?

Your efforts before you go to sleep ate night are kind of useless. The more sleep you have before your attempt the greater your chances of success. Trying to do it before bed is something that should only be practiced by some one that is already very experienced.

Well done, as dms said, make sure you attempt WILDs/SP with the WBTB technique.

I had over 50 SPs already, and 95% of those happened randomly when i woke up.

If you think about it a lot and want it to happen, that'll increase your chances, i guess. But maybe you just need to be generally likely to achieve SP to succeed...
It's good to see someone that wants more of SP and isn't so scared that never wants to experience it again
      I realize that i'm dreaming.
