Thread: have i had lucid dreams?

sometimes, in my dreams, i've suddenly realised: 'this is a dream', and so have acted consciously in a certain manner, and/or have done certain things consciously within the dream (i usually feel really sad, because this generally happens when i'm meeting someone famous etc. in the dream! my second thought, then, is: 'well, i may as well enjoy this while it lasts...' ). i also remember these dreams very clearly - in fact, i had one like i've described just last night.

does what i've described constitute as lucid dreaming? i'm going to consciously attempt lucid dreaming for the first time tonight, and i was just wondering. thanks!
