Thread: strange experience, creeped me out....

Hi im completely new to all this. So pretty much since i was little uve had dreams where ive known im dreamibg. Sometimes ill try and control them, which works somewhat. Ive also experienced sleep paralysis manyyyy of times. Well just now i was asleep and dreaming, aware that i was dreamibg, except some parts i wasnt sure if i was still awake or not. Well towards the end of the dream im in my roon trying to fall asleep. I keep looking at this green light which i knew was something in my room. ( Everything looked the exact same as my real room just sonewhat off) well while im focusing on that i suddenly see this red or orange flash next to my tv and i hear this very high pitched, cracking almost, just weird noise. Then sleep paralysis set in. I fought it til finally i was up and mobile. Idk what happened but i was terrified through this. Im still shaken up by it. If anyone can msybe explain this to me it would be veryyyy much appreciated!!!

I'm not expert it this, but i think it is a normal hallucination !

The thing is.. when you get into sleep paralysis with your eyes closed, you are most likely to hear sounds (similar to what you described) and see flashy colors and stuff.. So what you did was exactly the same, except , you didn't keep your eyes closed, so you hallucinated with your eyes open, so you saw lights, and heard high pitch sounds ! ..

Nothing to worry about :p it's all a part of your brain getting into paralysis ^^ .. (you just experienced it with your eyes open)

Ohhh ok thank you!!!! See ive never really had any hallucinatioms during paralysis. Ive always just been stuck trying hopelessly for what seems like hours to sit up. So when this happened it really scared me lol. Then i just remember thinking whatever i saw was something very evil, but ive read that is normal. But thanks, that kept me up a good 40 minutes last night! Lol

Ahah, yeah, that's pretty normal.
