Oh Those Moments...

Does anyone else have those moments in real life, where you're all alone in a quiet area with a pretty wierd feeling and think you might be dreaming? Like for example, I'm walking home and while on the sidewalk a take a glance and notice I see no people, birds or other life and its dead silent and you feel like you could be dreaming..... Anyone else experience this?

Occasionally. The world gets very big and feels very empty very quickly. Then some idiot drives by in a truck blaring his horn and you realize, "Hey! I'm not alone!" In the cloud of exhaust he leaves behind you may wish, just for a moment, to truly be the only one in the world. Then you realize that you can't sew your own underwear, you have no idea how to butcher a cow, and you can't create your own video games. So you give a silent prayer of thanks to whatever entity you believe in, if you believe in one, that there are other people out there. DreamBliss

Yeah! Sometimes I will just get a random feeling I'm dreaming, even when I'm not. Kind of reminds me of déjà vu.

Just a little while ago I had the first experience of waking life deja-vu I have had in a very long time. I was reading the book, "Songwriting for Dummies" and had just come the part about the J-card used in audio cassette cases. There was also a strange sort of memory associated with this. Something about advice for leaving myself some sort of note on a J-card? Anyhow I looked up and saw an error message on the screen from a program I was running. I knew I had read this book before and seen that message. It was more like I remembered it. Clearest experience of deja-vu I have ever had. Wondering what this means considering my deja-vu experiences had, I guess you could say, translated themselves to my dream life, and now they're back. I could swear I have read this book before, although I don't remember any of the words I have read so far. Weird. - DreamBliss

I have RC moment yes. Like today someone had moved the chairs in my classroom, so it looked a bit odd. Time for RC!

Oh yeah one time I just woke up and thought that the movement of my hand was odd so I shouted "It's a dream!!!!!" , but it was reality... I am glad no one heard me ^^

I get that to. Sometimes the world seems a little duller than it should, my vision seems less vivid, and my thoughts a bit fuzzy and I have to do a RC.

Sometimes I wonder if I've been dreaming for years now, and that I'm still just a little kid sleeping on a bunk bed. I sound crazy, I know lol.
