Thread: Wanted to share a video with everyone

It seems good. This is an age old question…been asked and looked at through philosophy for centuries. Sigmund Freud work books about it during the 1890s about dreams being our subconscious way of acting out our true natures…selves…we want to do/be in real life but can’t.

My only issue with this film as with all recent documentaries, biographies, and research videos of this nature in recent. History Channel does the same thing now. They insist on using the dark macabre "doom and gloom" themes. Dark tinted blue or black background. Lighting/thunder storms…the haunted house spooking thing. Some research guy with glasses, dressed in black, talking to the camera about his research while walking in the near dark or sitting in front of a dark screen. Filming at night. What happened to the those old style ones I use to see back in the 80s and 90s and the re-run ones from the 70s. They were all light and sunny. Some guy or native American would be standing behind the sun in the open Arizona desert talking about the mystical side of our dreams with the wind blowing through him. Or some lady in white and pink gym clothes in some neat city park surrounded by plants/flowers teaching mind meditation and exploring what might be behind our dreams or inner-selves, or that Indian guru in a beautiful garden in India exploring this topic. Use to be that if the documentry was demonstrating someone trying to LD or AP it shows them in a regular cozy house or regular apartment on their bed trying to get into that sleep trance…instead of some house or room that looks like its form a mental institution and its all black and lighting outside.

I’m just going off lol. Lately almost every thing I watch with parapsychology as this whole ghostly dark film shooting style behind it. Maybe Im just getting old and from another era lol.

Makes it more dramatic I'm assuming, If I saw some guy standing in the middle of the desert who looks like a stoner, I probably would not take him seriously compared to a guy in a lab suit and glasses, but hey that's just me
