It's a form of DEILD technique where you tap your fingers as a reality check upon awakening.

Tip: Lay still and have closed eyes upon awakening and if your lucky you wont even need to tap your fingers to feel that you are dreaming.

Your welcome, well basically that is all you need for DEILDING the rest takes care of itself if your in REM that is to say. But it's not as easy as it sounds unfortunately.

      Good luck!

Hmmm. I thought FILD was where you use a slight tapping of fingers as you fall asleep, to pass into the dreamstate, and then RC after 20 seconds?

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper
