      Exclamation I wet my bed?!!!

Okay so.. I've just read into lucidity last night and I was really excited and stuff..

What happened the next day was.. that I woke up peeing!
it's like the peeing woke me up or something, I'm not sure.. But I woke up like just a second after I started peeing..

It was really weird, I'm 19 and I haven't wet my bed for like 11 or 12 years? I mean who does!

I don't know if this had to do with me reading into lucidity .. Anyone got any idea what's going on here?

      Yikes!

If this incident is isolated I wouldn't treat it as anything. Lucidity isn't known to cause someone to lose control of the bladder.

Chances are you just didn't wake up timely to use the bathroom. Perhaps you enjoyed too much liquid or salt before bed.

If it happens again...or becomes a consistent problem...you can consult a doctor and/or limit liquids to at least 3 hours before bed.

      Hope that helps.

It could be to do with the focus you were putting on sleeping, intending to become lucid. Suggestion is a powerful thing, so much so that I assume it could even over-ride the natural sensation to wake you up when you need to use the bathroom.

      I wouldn't worry about it though, it's probably just a one-time thing.

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.

No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.
