Imagine this situation, someone has a dream where they felt they lived in for 2 mins but the dream only took 1 min in real life. For this to be possible the brain would have to be simulating an entire dream scene twice as fast as it would normaly, I doubt that the brain even has the ability to process this information so I'm guessing that if someone manages to dilate a dream the quality and senses would be reduced.
Another possiblity (This one more likely) is that dreams aren't being dilated at all, this one goes by that you remember fragments of a dream and your mind then creates imaginary memories to fit in between the pieces to make sense of the dream, making it seems as though you have dreamt for 10 mins but in reality it was only 5. Personally I find this the more believable option, look at how our brains naturally create dreams for example, the subconscious (creative, random side) throughs memories at us in our dreams, the slight logical part of our brain tries to link all these random images together.
