      Post That last 15%

I have found that using sleep paralysis to induce a lucid dream would work well for me, however, i have only been able to do it once, and I was very tired. Now, when i try, it takes an hour to get to the lead blanket feeling, then after another 15-20 minutes i get maybe 1 or 2 very short segments of "video clip" hallucinations then it will not go further, like taking off in 3rd gear, then not shifting up on the freeway -_-

Which guides have you followed, theres jeff777 guide and mzzkc's guide which both seem to work.
1)How are you trying to induce it.?
      2)Do you stay completely still?
3)Do you try visualize your dream body moving around and touching stuff?
      4)When do you try?

Kind of created my own guide, just sit there, go through the transition with the vibrations ext. then just wait there or start a lucid dream with imagery or memory.
      1) Induced by going all the way into Sp (Fully in subcontious)
      2) Yes, not sure about breathing though
      3) Only when im about to go all the way into SP, because i can will my legs to move (they dont) and they move in my head, so i get the feeling of my bed/ "lead blanket" on my body, but move like a dream in my head.
      4) Any time i can including mornings (4am-7am) after i sleep, 3-5 in afternoon

This is tough, maybe you should spend less time focusing on reachin SP and more on visualizing the dream scene, laying completely still or trying to fall asleep consciously (sounds impossible), have a look at the guides I refered to earlier and check if they describe the same process that you go through.

O.k I see, but I think ill focus on visualizing the dream scene, since that takes my focus off eye movements and such. I feel asleep consciously, but it was because of inducing SP ( did that clear it up?, hope so).Ill check the guides and try them in the next couple of days with wbtb.

Haha I don't know why, but I read that as you prefer a shag. We get all kinds of SP beings around here, so you never know

In the DVA, we get students every now and then who want to focus on SP to transition into lucidity. And quite often they get stuck in it for many minutes or hours, as you put it. This approach works for some, but over all I see more progress in students who use a combination of increased awareness, as well as visualization like you and dutchraptor discussed.

It would be interesting to see if this works for you, please post your progress!

So far no luck, but i dont understand, I induced SP once, easily, and all i needed to do was visualize something to start a dream, I just didnt know that at the time. Now, i can lay there, listen to meditation guides, whatever, and get stuck, so idk. I know there are some people out there who can induce sleep paralysis with no issues, now, if someone could somehow marry the 2, your gold. You know, tuesday night i tried a wbtb SP attempt, that failed, however, lately I have had issues falling alseep normally (20-30 min, without relaxing, just black out), now its 1-2 hours roll around...eventually black out. Idk how i did it, but i opened my eyes and woke up a little, to find myself kind of 3/4 there in SP, i tried to close my eyes and go with it, then fell out of it. So im sorry but, idk, this isnt working all that well, its a literal 10% success rate (chance?) ill go on to somthing else.

Okay I'll lay out plan for you to follow that might help.
      Basics:
During a rem you are completely paralyzed, when we wake up from a dream we still retain a large portion of the SP, but only if you wake up and stay completely still, not even your eyes should move. This forms the basis for the technique Deild.

      Steps:
1)You will need an alarm to wake you up around after 3 or more hours after you fall asleep. You could also use mantra's to remind your body to wake up after a dream.

2)You have woken up, it is imperitave that you do not move or open your eyes the moment you wake up.

      3) you realise you have woken so you stay exactly in that postion untill it gets really uncomfortable.

      4) If done right, you will instantaneously fall into SP( may include HI).

      5) From now on you try to recall tha latest scene from your last dream and play it through in your mind.

Hope it helps, its worth a shot right.

That makes sence and sounds in the general way of how i hit SP for the first time, except when i did it, i was really tired and didnt care. Your method makes more sence and looks alot more repeateable, ill check that out friday night, for now i need to catch up on sleep, but yes it is work a shot, thanks.
