Maybe try using autosuggestion or a mantra to stop it from happening? Something like "I stay aware and within my lucid dreams." |
I've asked this a couple times before, and well, the responses I got didn't help -much-. Perhaps because I can't apply what they've said. Regardless I'll explain once more, perhaps I'll get advice that works this time around. |

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with a case of "You've been cursed my a mysterious entity, proceed to get screwed over for the rest of you Lucid Dreaming Career". Sounds about right. |
I think your negative attitude about the outlook of things won't help anything to be honest. Just know that in your next dream it won't happen... Of course it won't, you're in your own dream. |
I understand it's about expectations, but you need to understand, up until now, I thought it only happened when I LD'd in my "dream room". This latest LD wasn't in my room, so I honestly did not expect it to happen. It didn't even cross my mind. |
You've linked LDing with the first, bad experience that you had with it, so now it will be linked with it until you're able to just let it go, and KNOW that you can control your dreams however you want. It's your dream. You have total control. |
Yeah, I guess. Thanks for the help, but I'd still appreciate the input of some other people, so anyone else who has some advice, please share. =/ |

I had the opposite problem like yours sometimes when I turn to lucid, my sleeping body automatically open 1of my eye and I see my left eye in dream screen, right eye looking at real life, then it turn to little chaos. |
How vivid are you lucid dreams? Maybe stabilizing can 'cure' the problem, otherwise just try do things which would make you feel awake in the dream. Maybe splash cold water on your face or whatever |
I agree, seems like a problem with expectations and stabilization. So next time before you go to bed, convince yourself that you will have a perfect lucid dream every night because you are a pro, proceed to mantra yourself to sleep "when I LD my eyes will not shut" |
If I understand what you're getting at by the word vivid, and that is the "realness" of the dream, well then they seem pretty damn real. Especially the dreams that occur in my bedroom, generally looks exactly like my own room. |

Confidence is the KEY |

Anyone have like, Herbal Remedies or something? Haahaha. |
You need to belieeeeeeeve in yourself. As in, you need to believe that you can keep your eyes open without a doubt. Only then will it stop. |
