Why do I experience everything from 3rd person.

I think I had my first LD tonight but Im not sure.
I saw myself in a weird situation (3rd person) I demanded myself to do a reality check and then I realised I was dreaming. And then I told myself to elivate and it worked but I thought I would experience it in 1st person, it wasnt that fun in 3rd person.

      Whats going on?

I've had this same problem a long time ago (literally on a scale of years), and still sometimes have it to this day. I really don't know what's up with this whole third person thing... It annoys me -_-
      Oof.

I've only had those situations happen to me a few times, and it seems to me that it might just be about dream control. When I'd see myself in 3rd person, I would close my eyes and really think about going into 1st person. Closing your eyes is not really recommended though, as it can lead to waking up in real life. Fortunately, it has worked for me most times. When I reopen my eyes, I would somehow successfully go into first person. It took me a while to learn to do that though, as my control in lucids isn't very good. I suggest working on your dream control, and really focus and imagine. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
