I DID IT!! My 1st Lucid Dream!!

Ok so lately I have been trying soo hard to pull this off. I have been doing all the the techniques you guys talk about like WILD and MILD.. So yesterday I finally bought a bed since we moved. It was my first night in a long time not sleeping on a couch. So I wasnt even thinking about lucid dreaming this time.. just trying to finally get a good nights sleep.... Alright here is the dream.

I was in this large stadium in a demolition derby car. There were people all around. But I was the only one there.. just doing donuts in the mud. Then something happened to make me realize I was dreaming b/c I remember actually saying "Wait, this has to be a dream. Im having a lucid dream!!" and I was like celebrating in my dream. Then I was like well hey if im in a dream... and then I like flew my car like it was a jet, all around the stadium and it was soo kick ass. Then I realized that in my dreams I can have sex with anyone. And I headed off to a girls house that I like. And as I was leaving the stadium towards her house the I must have lost lucidity b/c I cant remember stuff after that..

The real kicker was that I woke up afterwards and was like man I gotta write this down.. but I immediatly went back to sleep over and over.

      Excellent work. congrats! whoo hoo..

But you gotta be careful too much excitement can end the Lucid dream just as quick as it has come. So try to keep your cool in the dream the next time you are chasing a piece of Ass! Haha... Be sure to keep those emotions in line to keep the integrity of the dream at bay. Great work and good luck on your next one.

yes u can dream about lucid dreaming. spiritwolf says hes done it a few times. he said he was checking out books on lucid dreaming in his dream. lucid means you were fully awake in the dream like now how you are consciously aware

well this definately felt real. It was awesome. I just wish I would have woken up directly afterwards so I could have remembered what made me realize I was dreaming. Maybe my phone alarm vibrated in my dream. I have it set during the day so that I do reality checks every hour. that would be cool if someone had called me in the middle of the night and made my phone vibrate. Well im off to bed. Hopfully pulling off another LD!!

Im in dissagreement with that one. Thats impossible to dream about a lucid dream, because if you're aware in a dream than your Lucid. If you're dreaming that you are aware in a dream than you're Lucid. case close.....

And reading books about Lucid dreaming in a dream doesn't classify it as Lucidity. And come to think of it how can you miss out on a chance to go lucid having a dream like that its beyond me!

      Sucks to be me too!

Once I dreamed I was explaining someone what was Lucid Dreaming and how a Dream Journal would increase recall and that sort of things.

      And I didn't become lucid.
      Maybe next time.

guess what your wrong. you can have a dream and in it be thinking that you might be lucid or are lucid dremaing, and not really be lucid. lucid dreaming is just another file in our mind that we can dream about. being TRULY lucid is being awake while dreaming. not dreaming about being awake.

      Congrtulations!

And in regard to the question "Can you dream about lucid dreaming?" Yes indeed you can. I have done it once that I can remember. I was on the side of a road, sort of in the bank when I became very slightly lucid, but then lost it. I was running and was jumping extra far and I said to myself "This is what it would be like in a LD". And I picked up a fluffy dandelion and thought to myself how realistic it would look even in an LD, and I blew off the fluff. Then I woke up and kicked myself in the ass repeatedly.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

My roomate said something just now that reminded me how I became lucid. I was going to call someone and my phone said I was out of service. Then I realized that I would never use ALL my minutes so I have to be dreaming! bah.. I also have my phone to go off every hour to remind me to do reality checks.. I wonder if this is why my phone came into play during my dream.

Ordinarily, Sex will put an end to a dream, but for you, apparently just the thought of Sex ended your dream.

Put it into perspective... that one can have sex a dozen times a day, if one likes (remember what Diogenes said when approached for masterbating in the Public Square at the height of the Business Hours, that "He only wished that he could satisfy the hunger of his stomach as easily by rubbing his belly".) But Lucid Dreaming, as you know, is a very rare event. Doing anything, trying anything, learning anything will not wake you up and end your dream, EXCEPT Sex. Besides, dream sex is largely comparable to shooting fish in a barrel... one might as well masterbate... one easy gratuitious orgasm is much like another, no?

Ha, I like that Diogenes quote. One reason, actually two reasons for me, to have dream sex instead of just masturbating in the waking world is that sometimes the feelings can be heightened greatly during a dream orgasm. I know that is the case for me. Also, being able to choose any person in the world to have dream sex with can be highly gratifying, although I really begin to feel guilty for it.
