If you are aware that you are dreaming, then it's a lucid dream. |

Hey, I'm a new member, having only found out about 'Lucid dreaming' as a concept. I'm in my late teens, and have had dreams in which I am aware they were dreams since I was young, although since hearing of lucid dreaming, I have been having better dream recall and more lucids lately, without employing any techniques. However, although generally my dreams fit the definition of an LD, (in that I am aware it is a dream) they don't really fit the description everyone else talks of. They vary, but in general I have poor logic and clarity of thought in the dreams. The dreams I have are certainly not 'crystal clear'- they resemble less real life and more watching some kind of blurry film. For example, I usually have free will in these dreams and am aware they're dreams. But often it seems I can't focus properly and entirely lack logic. They aren't at all sharp and like real life. My question is-are these LDs? |

Before learning about lucid dreams I had 3 or 4 like you described. But intentionally going for it, plus reality checks, I started having the reality type. I still occasionally have the dream-like kind, but now the real kind predominate. |
