has this ever happend to anyone?

I was attempting a WILD, I got to the point where the transition occured but when it did, I heard a whole bunch of wierd sounds that sounded kinda like screaming. It sounded sorta like when you watch a movie where a mind readers power gets out of control and all these thoughts occure at once, it was sorta like that only much more "alien" in a sense. I've never heard this before during a WILD. I remember saying to myself "Ok I don't want to lucid dream anymore, this is getting too scary". it was extremely uncomfortable, has this ever happend to anyone else during a WILD. Does anybody know what this is. is this just typical auditory hypnogogic hillucinations happening during the transition period of a WILD?

I've had this many times -- during normal bedtimes as well as during WILD attempts. They seem to be normal auditory hallucinations. Usually I hear screaming, banging, people calling my name in weird distorted voices, etc. It really freaked me out at first but I kinda learned to accept it. Most of the time, I just imagine turning the voices into something more pleasant, like Morgan Freeman's voice haha! It can really be uncomfortable, but in a way I was kinda amazed at how I get to witness my mind generating something like that which isn't real and is only in my head.

Yes, that's totally normal. Everyone experiences hypnagogic hallucinations differently, but auditory ones like that can be pretty common. I used to get these really loud banging sounds sometimes just while falling asleep, I tend to get hallucinations without even trying to WILD. If you want to transition fully and they keep happening you're going to have to just accept them and not let them scare you, there's nothing actually going on and nothing they can do to hurt you.
