Question My Lucid dreamind stoped abruptuly

Since i was a child, i always thought that something was around waiting to get into my thoughts, speacially in my sleep. So everynight before i went to sleep, i used to create a cocoon of white light and blue around me and sleep peacefully. one i started to have nighmares. mostly of werewolf.that my uncle used to scare me after a saw the "thriller" video and folklore stories, and later on, other creatures and demons . I got feed up of my dreams being interupted and one day just turned around and made the thing disapear. since then, started developing lucid dreaming. some of my dreams would repeat themself, sometimes a week later, sometimes month or years, but some details could be slightly diferent. However, because i remebered them, sometimes i would make diferent choices to see diferent outcomes.. with time, eventually, i could literally alter the fabric of the dream, and i had a key element to what action to take. To let the dream run if was a good dream, and neutralise anything adverse. I can still recall any dream i recalled then. However, in my early 20's i had a dream, i was standing at what apeared to be 2 dimentional surroundings, was abstracts and surreal, my method failed. Since, if i recall anything at all are faded fragment, and the very rare remembering. I think in 14 years i must recall 1, and the memories of the faded, just faded. Honestly what i remember wasnt very nice at all, took me some time to get it of my mind, as it was quite violent, and the odd thing was, the i was just an expectator inside the person in the dream. i was seing through its eyes, but had no control whatsoever.. i feel like something took control of my astral plane..i have experienced other things too, but i will keep it in the topic of lucid dreaming.. Anyone have an insight?

I often feel like the content of nightmares is not important. The feeling of fear is present, and we come up with a frightening hallucination to fit. The surreal, fake 2-D surrounding sounds like a stereotypical dream scene from a movie. Maybe it was a nightmare about not being able to control your dreams? When you have complete control of your dream, what else could possibly frighten you?

There could be more to your story, than what I see. But could one of the reasons be, that since you say you had hard time getting bad dreams out of your head, you made a decision to stop remembireng them?

Or, you were lucid dreamer as a child, but now, you may need to do some work in order to get your dreams and lucid dreams.

Keep a dream journal, think about your dreams often and be gratefull for them, so your mind understands, they are important to you. Good luck
