      I don't think I was actually lucid

      Okay so lucid dreaming was on my mind all day and when I went to sleep I remember realizing I was dreaming I did the noseplug RC (I was confused so I had to do it a few times but then I got it) and then I got really excited and the dream got really blurry so I rubbed my hands and it cleared up but only a little . I wanted to go try some cool lucid stuff but I woke up :\ the reason why I don't think I was lucid is because I think since I was thinking about it all day I ended up having a dream about being lucid . What do you guys think ?

      That is really tricky for me too. But I think you got lucid. When you realized you were lucid, do you remember thinking your own thoughts and making your own decision, and not just "going with the flow" like a story?

      I also get some dreams like those too, and I can't determine whether I was really lucid or not. Usually when I truly went lucid, the excitement is different from the excitement when I would just dream about being lucid. I can't quite explain it though :/

      But yea, I believe you were really lucid. So congrats!

      Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      I think you were lucid. You say you realized that, that's reason #1. And you got excited. That's a HUGE reason #2, which seals the deal for me. Congreats!

      That was your lucid dream for sure because you realized that you were dreaming. So, congrats for your first lucid dream.
