I had a lucid dream with no effort?

I'm actually a newbie to this and just recently had a lucid dream, 3 total, including this last one, I had a lucid dream not even trying, like unconsciously lucid dreaming, I know it's contradicts a little bit, but that's what I felt like, I could barely remember it too, in fact when I woke up I convinced myself I didn't remember any dreams, but after thinking for a while I remember a lucid dream where I was in a video game "defeating people" along with my friend, I thought you had to have more practice to do this?

They can happen at random times. Even people who don't know about lucid dreaming have them once in a while, although most of them probably won't remember them. If you know about lucid dreaming the chances of them happening at random will be even bigger, atleast that's how i see it. The goal of practicing lucid dreaming is to have them more frequently, that's probably why you have to train your dream recall first, so you will also remember them. A bunch of my lucid dreams where at random, almost like an awareness "shock" just hitted me with full force. Not sure if this is what your looking for?

Hope this helps you a little bit..

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

It's best to have failure happen early in life. It wakes up the Phoenix bird in you so you rise from the ashes.

Yes, that may happen to some. I've heard people say that they lucid dream regularly without even wanting.

Practice will only get you to a point where you lucid dream with more regularity.
