Have Lucid Dreams affected your Real Life decisions?

I was just wondering if anyone has used a LD to try something that they wouldnt have tried in RL and manipulated their own opinion enough to change themselves in reality? for example new jobs, new ambitions or hobbies? or maybe even relationships.

I say relationships because thats exactly what happened to me .. it was many years ago and i was quite young it was one of my early lucid dreams. Ide been with a girl for around 2 years. The dream started as a non-lucid dream and i was at my school with all my friends and it turned into a DILD before i was aware i was dreaming tho ide found myself becoming attracted to my girlfriends best friend and after i became lucid i decided why not ide have a go at kissing her as i did i woke up. The next morning i went into school and i was strangely attracted to my girlfriends best friend and ide never noticed it before at first i though it was only happening because ide dreamt about her but it didnt change and a couple weeks later i ended up finishing the girl i was with and ended up in a relationship with her best friend for around a year.
Im not saying my dream was the reason i ended up with her or it changed my life but it was the reason i even saw through her just being my girlfriends best friend and seeing her as someone ide like to be with.

An LD nearly made me forget a notebook check the next day. I woke up, remembered it, used WBTB, found my notebook in the LD and used its contents to update its table of contents IRL. That was close.

Yeah, my subconscious is nice to me now, she used to burn my hands with acid when I RC'ed though.

Well, all my books are based on dreaming and LD'ing, so I guess that was a big source of influence; but I'm not sure that counts.

This might: I did "retire" from my job at 42 yrs old to pursue a career in what I wanted to do (dreaming, art, and more writing), rather than just making money, and to this day I believe that it is the new set of priorities dreaming has provided me, a set that places personal and spiritual development above keeping up with the Joneses. That bit has been quite nice ... but be sure you don't quit your day job without another source of food and shelter!

Even before i got into lucid dreaming, there were dreams that affected my decisions, basically i saw something and inspired by that i was creating some video game related stuff. As for when i started getting into lucid dreaming, it did indeed changed my opinion on bunch of things, so yeah.
